Scholarships

Scholarships are free money, meaning you do not have to repay, but there may be a few strings attached (e.g. good academic standing). In the end, the benefits of scholarships far outweigh any negatives you might attribute to the process in obtaining and/or maintaining the award. The application process depends on the benefactor.

All Hallettsville ISD scholars are encouraged to complete the Hallettsville High School Local Scholarship Program Application.

Access and read the Local Scholarship List and Requirements first. Some of the scholarships have deadlines, so give yourself plenty of time to apply and meet all necessary requirements.

Scholarship Donor Addresses

*Don’t forget to write thank you notes to the scholarship donors. Proper etiquette is to write the notes within 10 days of receipt of scholarship notification. The note should express how grateful you are to the donors for giving you the extra help you need to attend school after graduation. Be sincere. Be sure to write thank you notes for ALL scholarships; those through HHS and those from outside organizations.

If the name of the scholarship donor is not on the page, let us know and we will get the address for you.

Once again, Congratulations!

Ms. Strauss & Ms. Weir
